Hydropneumatic

Clamping equipment, already available with mechanical operation, implemented with hydropneumatics cylinders.

Compared to hydraulic systems, hydropneumatics systems require only compressed air as an energy source, then integrate within them a particular system with additional hydraulic stages that, using oil, allow to multiply the internal pressure and therefore the clamping force obtained. Furthermore, they automate the closing/opening, allow the setting and repeatability of the desired clamping force.

The use is mainly foreseen where there are short-term processes that require a rapid piece change, repetitive pieces and in large series, where the positioning of the equipment is not ergonomic for mechanical operation by the operator or where precise control of the clamping force is necessary.
